Covid Recovery Statement
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic has put a huge strain on NHS critical care services including primary care/our GP practice and as a result we have been forced to adapt to a rapidly changing way of working. We are pleased to be actively involved with the delivery of the Covid Vaccination Programme. The partnership & the wider team here at River Place wish to thank all our patients for their patience and understanding over this period.
We hope you are all aware that as a practice we have remained open and have continued to work hard and tirelessly to ensure that you, our patients have remained safe and we have strived to maintain as many of our services as we possibly could. This has been very challenging for us all and at times frustrating and upsetting that we have not been able to see you in our usual traditional GP sense.
As we slowly come out of this last (& hopefully final) lockdown and enter the “recovery phase”of the pandemic we are seeing more of you back in the surgery. This is in line with the latest Government & Chief Medical Officer advice but we hope that our doors will once again be “fully open” on June 21st 2021.
Please be aware that measures will continue to be in place at the practice after this date (in line with current guidance) to ensure yours & our ongoing safety and wellbeing.
